What is retatrutide?

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a synthetic peptide developed by Eli Lilly. It is called a triple agonist because it activates three hormone receptors: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. Semaglutide acts on GLP-1 only, and tirzepatide on GLP-1 and GIP.
